View Terraria Underground Npc House Images. Hi there, i built an all boss fighting arena in a corruption/jungle area and under it (466 feet underground) a house out of the house has backwalls, a chair, table, door and a light source, but it says that the house is damaged so no npc can move in. I thought npcs wont move into houses in the underground or cavern layer.

In the new 1.4 update, npcs now have individual choices about living close to other npcs or what biome they stay in which in turn affects their costs. Although it's not the most efficient housing on our list, it's idyllic and tranquil feel makes this a quaint home for your hobbits… we mean npcs.
